Crowns & Bridges

Crowns and bridges are two restorations we use to build up, repair, and replace teeth that have been decayed or damaged. Crowns can be made of a number of different materials including gold, stainless steel, or porcelain. Porcelain crowns are the most lifelike, and are often indistinguishable from natural teeth. Bridges are made up of one or more artificial teeth that fill in the gaps left by missing teeth. The bridge is held in place by crowns or dental implants. If you have damaged or missing teeth, please call our office today to schedule a consultation with Dr. Liao to discuss your restoration options.

Dental Implant Placement and Restoration

Dental implants are a state-of-the-art approach to replacing missing teeth. The implants are made up of two basic parts. The implant itself is a titanium post that is placed surgically into the gum where your tooth was. As you heal, the post becomes a part of your jaw, a process known as osseointegration. The part of the implant that everyone sees is the crown that is attached to the implant. This crown is highly realistic, and nobody will know that it isn’t one of your natural teeth. At Ai Family Dental, we are able to both place and restore dental implants, meaning that the entire process can be completed in our office by the dentist you know and trust. Give us a call to schedule an appointment with Dr. Liao to learn more about this fascinating technique.

Dentures

Dentures and partials are a practical and affordable solution to the problem of missing teeth. Advances in dental technology have improved the appearance of dentures so much that most people will be unable to tell that they are not your natural teeth. Dentures and partials are also designed to fit more securely and comfortably than ever before, which means you can enjoy a large variety of foods with confidence and speak comfortably without the risk of embarrassing mishaps. Call our office today to discuss how dentures or partials can improve your life.

What is Invisalign® Clear Aligner?

Invisalign® clear aligners are virtually invisible solution, so you can smile confidently both during treatment and after. Using a series of clear, removable aligners, Invisalign treatment gradually moves your teeth toward the smile you've always wanted. And, almost no one will know you're wearing them unless you tell them.

How long does it take?

The average estimate for the entire treatment is six to 24 months.

How much does it cost?

In most cases, Invisalign® clear aligner treatment is comparable to the cost of traditional braces. However, as with other medical treatments, only your doctor can determine the cost, based on your specific needs. Other factors may include your treatment goals, the difficulty of your case, how long you are in treatment, where you live, your orthodontic insurance coverage, and additional factors determined by your dentist or orthodontist.

Am I a good fit for Invisalign®?

Many people incorrectly believe that Invisalign clear aligners are only effective in treating minor teeth straightening issues. But the fact is, it successfully treats patients with moderate and severe conditions, including the following: Spacing: Too much space between teeth
Crowding: Not enough space between teeth
Overbite: Protruding upper teeth
Underbite: Protruding lower teeth
Deep bite: Upper front teeth hiding the lower teeth
Open bite: Vertical spacing between the front teeth
